This year at Post Expo, Pitney Bowes has promised to reveal innovative ways to automate mail delivery for both the public and private sector.
Post Expo, the world’s leading annual event for the international postal, express and mailing industry starts on the 6th of October and runs for three days.
At the Copenhagen event, Pitney Bowes plans to unveil the newest addition to its sorting hardware portfolio designed to automate more offline mail handling processes faster and more accurately.
As a teaser, Pitney Bowes are holding back specific details until Post Expo, with an announcement expected at the show on the first day.
Jürgen W. Küpper, Vice President DMT International at Pitney Bowes, states: "We are very excited about this latest sorting innovation. The Pitney Bowes stand will be the place to come for public and private Posts looking to integrate high-speed, flexible, accurate and cost-efficient automation into their mail handling processes."
Hardware and software solutions that can help streamline more processes to lower operational costs–as well as enhance capabilities to further expand services–will also be featured in the Pitney Bowes stand, situated in Hall C2, Stand 2020. Live demonstrations will include a close-up view of the Pitney Bowes MultiSort mail sorter that provides low-volume, entry-level mailers with flexible mail sorting automation–for both incoming and outgoing mail–along with a rapid return on investment.
Pitney Bowes’ Production Intelligence ® software will be demonstrated including the P/I™ OfficeMail™ solution that can help organizations move the printing of office mail from the desktop to a secure, centralised production environment. P/I™ Output Management can help mailers enhance applications with barcodes, integrity and other production capabilities.
Also on display is Pitney Bowes Mail Distribution Manager that can automate the process of tracking, tracing, routing and billing to save time, cut costs and make operations more effective.
Attendees at Post Expo can also learn from industry experts. Speaking on the topic of Automation Innovation in the Technology Workgroup on Wednesday 6th October from 13:40 - 17:10 will be Matthew Lennon, manager business and product management, Pitney Bowes, USA.
