Pitney Bowes is currently holding its annual Customer Summit. Under the title, "1ntegrate to Grow, Optimize and Outperform", the event is hosted by the company's Document Messaging Technologies (DMT) business unit in Danbury, CT.
This year's event is also offering summit attendees the opportunity to view the Pitney Bowes® IntelliJet™ Production Print System in operation at the company's Customer Innovation Center in Shelton, CT.
Participants at the summit are hearing from Pitney Bowes experts about the latest ways to integrate hardware, software, and services to deliver superior performance from printing and mailing operations. The event also includes opportunities to hear directly from print, mail and marketing industry leaders in innovative customer panel discussions.
Ramesh Ratan, president of Pitney Bowes DMT and the former chief operating officer of the Direct Marketing Association, delivered the keynote address. "There is a relentless focus in business today on maximizing revenue opportunities while minimizing costs," said Ratan. "We want to share with our customers some of the leading practices we see around the printing and mailing industry. Our goal is to give every attendee solid, practical information they can bring back to their company to help drive immediate results."
A favorite of attendees, the summit features the opportunity to see innovative technology in action. Four unique tours being carried out feature ways to help customers:
Lower costs quickly by discovering new technologies that can help create operational efficiencies, reduce risks of not meeting regulatory objectives, and better utilize existing assets.
Create a roadmap of practical steps to help expand your business or operations as the mailing industry changes, and learn new ways to increase the value of mail.
Reap operational savings by learning how white paper and white envelopes can result in highly personalized, effective and relevant mailpieces.
Increase revenues by learning a simple and effective way to add targeted messages, promotional offers and even third-party advertisements to transactional statements.
