Parcelforce Worldwide business increases by 11 per cent

30/06/2009Parcelforce Worldwide has announced that it is to continue working to improve business by introducing new tracking and priority services.

The mailing company, which delivers letters, parcels, packages and documents to customers in various destinations around the world has been boosted by the news that export deliveries increased by 11 per cent over the past 12 months.

Countries in both east and west Europe and Asia were responsible for much of the increase in Parcelforce deliveries.

Iain Johnson, international director of Parcelforce Worldwide, commented: "Despite the tough economic climate, UK companies are recognising that there are export opportunities as a result of the weak pound, the growth of eastern European countries and the continued strength of economies such as China and India.

"We have seen the number of global deliveries we handle increase by 11 per cent in the past year."

He added that customers in the city and in rural areas in any country will be able to rely on the service provided by ParcelForce.

Earlier this month (June 9th), Royal Mail announced it had launched an online data resource to enable businesses to carry out efficient direct marketing campaigns.ADNFCR-1606-ID-19244425-ADNFCR
