Pitney Bowes showcased its latest technological innovations at the 2009 National Postal Forum (NPF), which took place from May 17th to May 20th.
The event was informed by the implementation of intelligent mail barcode technology by the US Postal Service.
Features of the Pitney Bowes display included the Inview Mailstream Management Suite and a new integrated portrait-to-landscape module.
Pitney Bowes chairman, president and chief executive Murray Martin commented: "The recessionary climate ironically presents unexpected opportunities for mailers who are in this business for the long haul.
"Research indicates that consumers are hungry for savings and that they most want to receive promotional offers through their mailbox."
He added that the forum will address very relevant and topical issues and the company is delighted to bring their expertise to the conference.
The NPF was set up in 1968 to serve the interests of the mailing and postal sector and improve best practice for the benefit of mailing customers and stakeholders.
